Galveston’s Summer Pop Band Concerts Nearing End of Season

Don’t miss the last two summer pop band concerts!  The Galveston Beach Band will perform at 7:30PM Tuesday, August 9 and Tuesday, August 16.  Ronald McDonald will make a guest appearance at this Tuesday’s special children’s concert.  These band concerts are FREE and offer great musical entertainment for the entire family!

The Galveston Beach Band, directed by Frank Incaprera, is as a part of Galveston summers as snow cones, flip flops, and trips to the beach.  The concerts entertain and delight audiences of all ages with a diverse mix of much loved show tunes, big band numbers and jazz!  Summer pop band concerts are free to the public.

Performances are held at the historic Sealy Gazebo on 24^th Street and Avenue I across from Rosenberg Library.  Family-friendly entertainment attracts a casual crowd of locals and tourists to the downtown site.  For more information please call the City of Galveston’s Parks and Recreation Department at (409) 621-3177.
